Hitachi manufactures a wide range of equipment to suit various industry solutions, such as mining, quarrying, general construction, demolition, recycling and forestry. Productive, technologically advanced, safe and comfortable to operate, and easy to maintain, Hitachi machines are constantly evolving to become even more efficient and reliable.
Hitachi large and ultra-large excavators, from the ZX470 to the EX8000, are renowned in mines and quarries throughout the world for high productivity and durability, low operating costs, excellent fuel efficiency and low maintenance requirements. They have been developed with decades of experience and are among the leading brands in the industry.
Hitachi produces a comprehensive range of demolition excavators suitable for challenging projects in which safety is a key concern. The ZX250 to ZX870 models deliver the same levels of productivity, reliability and comfort as all Hitachi excavators, but they can also be equipped with additional features, such as guards to protect the cab and undercarriage from falling debris and demolished materials. Hitachi demolition excavators can be fitted with a mono, two- or three-piece boom and have a working height of up to 40m.
Hitachi offers a wide variety of high-quality equipment, including mini, medium and wheeled excavators, and compact to medium wheel loaders, which are used to carry out all types of general construction work.
Several Hitachi models – from the ZX210LC to ZX470LCH crawler excavators, and including the ZX250W and ZX360W wheeled excavators – can be used for material handling applications on waste recycling sites. Like all Hitachi machines, they offer high levels of reliability, productivity, safety and comfort, but are also equipped with an elevated cab for enhanced visibility and a heavier counterweight for greater stability. Customers can choose from a broad selection of options to ensure their machine meets the specific requirements of the job site.
Hitachi has modified the ZX135USL and ZX225USRL short-radius swing excavators to make them suitable for challenging forestry applications. Although they offer the same high level of performance as standard Hitachi models, they differ in several ways – for example: they have a heavier counterweight for greater stability; a reinforced undercarriage, arm and bucket link for added durability; and an overhead window in the cab for enhanced visibility. They can be fitted with a variety of attachments, making them extremely versatile for a range of complex forestry tasks.
